The queen meets the king (Kageyama x reader)

(I don't know if I want to, but Part 1?)

As you walked through the gates of Karasuno for the first time, you thought of all the memories you might make. Hopefully they would be better than the ones in junior high, like how you broke up with your boyfriend because the way he acted, or when they called you the 'Queen of the Court' on the volleyball team. In junior high you were the libero, setter, or the wing spiker, but they used you mostly in spiking. You were a nice person (well you tried to be) who hate being called "The Queen" in middle (but that's in the past) and worked hard on your almost perfect grades. Though many schools recruited you for volleyball, many of which were powerhouses, you still decided to go to Karasuno because it was near home and you loved the quietness of the suburbs. So therefore, you signed up for the volleyball team to begin your high school career.

You heard the bell ring for class, so you headed on your way. As you walked closer to the class, you accidentally bumped into somebody, causing you to drop your bag.

“Hey! Wat-"

"Tch."

When you stood up, you both stared at each other, you couldn't help but to giggle a bit because of the redness on his cheeks. He looked sternly away and mumbled.

"Watch where you're going next time."

As he walked/ran off into the hall ahead of you and walked into a class, you realize, that's the same class, you had to go to, as well.  

After class, you walked to lunch with one of your friends. But, you ended up eating alone because of all the large groups of people around her made you uncomfortable. You couldn't help but to think of that boy who had bumped into you earlier. It made you a bit mad that he had bumped into you without saying, ‘Sorry’ or ‘Are you okay?’ Although, you couldn’t really get made over him because he kind of had nice looks, to be honest. His hair was raven black, short and straight. He looked pretty tall from how you him, you are like 5'3" and he seemed so tall compared to you. And his dark-ish blue eyes were so radiant and amazing that it even made you blush when you thought about it.  

You finished your lunch and realized you've eaten it a bit too quickly, so you went out to the school yard and sat under a tree eating a lollipop your friend had given you from the beginning of the day.

You sat there watching as the cherry blossoms flew off the tree and land onto the ground. Around you it smelt so wonderful that it reminded you of that one day in junior high. As you were too much in thought you didn't realize that certain boy had been looking at you and had walked your way.

"Oi."

"Eh?!?!"

Startled, your face turned red and you couldn't feel more embarrassed of how you reacted to his greeting.

"Eh, did I startle you that much? I didn't mean to."

"N-no, it's just you just caught me off guard, that's all."  

"Ah, okay."

You both stood/sat there in silence for a while until the bell rang for class. You stood up and staggered,

"I-we-uh-I should go to uhm class."

As you tried to walk away quickly, he grabbed your arm and asked,

"Hey, aren't we in the same class? Let's walk together."

"Oh, uhm, okay."

You've never blushed so much in one day or ever have you blushed this much (which you have because you had a boyfriend). You guess that he saw you fuss around a bit so he broke the silence again.

"So, I heard you signed up for the girls volleyball team, is that right?"

"Oh, uh, yes I have."

"And is your name, (l/n) (f/n)?”

"Eh? Uhm, yeah."

You wondered how he knew such information about you. Could it be that he is a-. No, it he couldn't be, he is way too attractive for that. But, you never know. He glanced at you, then walked a little bit ahead of you and turned around and put his hand out.

"I'm Tobio Kageyama, and I also signed up for the volleyball team, well uh you know for boys."

You both shook hands, and you smiled

"It's very nice to meet you, Tobio-san."

He turned away and it looked like he blushed a bit, but asked,

"Hey, do you have tryouts today?”

"Yes, I do (obviously.-.)."

"Uhm, what time does it end?"

"Huh, oh, uhm..around 5:30 or 6, I think."

"Well, uh, I was thinking if we could go get some ice cream on the way home, since like I live near you and such you know if you don't mind."

Again you couldn't help but to giggle at the same blushing face you saw from this morning.

"Sure, I'll meet you at the tree after tryouts, then."

You both made it to class and you said,

"I'll see you around class."

"Oh, uh, you too."

When you sat down in your seat, you heard a certain somebody cheering a bit too loudly to themselves in the back of the room, and when you turned around it was no other than the boy, Tobio Kageyama.
